Varieties suitable for Fairways, Football codes, Hockey, Cricket etc

Legend TM - Aussie Stadium, Suncorp Stadium, Legend is the one. Deep green/bluish colour, low growing, and good wear qualities make this a good choice.

Plateau (PBR) - Very low growing, low mowing and nutrient requirement and shade/cloud cover tolerance are its outstanding features. It has brilliant colour and is highly suited to fast ball speeds across its surface.

Greenlees Park - is easily the best of the older green couches in tropical areas, has good wear resistance but is higher maintainence than either Legend or Plateau.

SeaIsle 1 - An outstanding environmental grass for its ability to grow on salt affected soils and its ability to withstand polluted, salty or brackish water, it is also highly attractive, wear resistant and mows to a very fine surface. See www.jimboombaturf.com.au

Golf Tees Choice of either Mountain Green PBR or Plateau PBR

Mountain Green - Another low growing couch with great wear and recovery properties, it is highly suited to areas with poor air flow, or heavy cloud cover. Very dark green in colour, low mowing requirement, it is highly resistant to fungal diseases.

Golf/Bowling Greens

Tifdwarf - A proven bowls and golf variety, fairly high maintainence.

Tifgreen (328) - Is a major golf variety with a little lower maintainence, prone to stress and disease.

Novotek PBR - An ecotype adapted to tropical conditions, it performs with the best in good conditions, and shows far superior performance when stressed. It does not lose quality during long cloudy periods or poor air flow situations and has been unaffected by fungal attack, even when surrounded by heavily diseased 328 and Tifdwarf.

SeaIsle 2000 - A beautiful new seashore paspalum that produces a very fine surface at 3mm, it is the environmental turfgrass of the new century, having outstanding adaption to a very wide range of stresses.
